Job summary

MISC Group, a world-leading provider of international energy-related maritime solutions, seeks a Procurement Executive for its WP Kuala Lumpur operations. This on-site role focuses on end-to-end purchasing, requisitions, and supplier sourcing in line with company policies.

You will evaluate quotations, negotiate terms, monitor deliveries, and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards while maintaining procurement records and driving cost efficiency.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong skills in Purchasing Processes and Purchase Management to handle end-to-end procurement activities effectively.
• Candidates should be proficient in managing Purchase Orders, including preparation, tracking, and documentation in relevant procurement systems.
• Candidates should demonstrate solid Analytical Skills to assess supplier performance, evaluate quotations, and support cost optimization.
• Candidates should have clear and professional Communication skills to collaborate with stakeholders, negotiate with suppliers, and prepare reports.
• Relevant experience in procurement, supply chain, or sourcing within maritime, energy, or industrial sectors is highly beneficial.
• Knowledge of ERP or procurement software, contract basics, and vendor management best practices is an advantage.
• A diploma or degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field is preferred, along with strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Handle end-to-end purchasing activities to support MISC Group's maritime and energy operations.
• Prepare and process purchase requisitions and purchase orders; coordinate with internal stakeholders to understand requirements.
