Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a Procurement Executive to source, purchase, and manage materials for PCB manufacturing. The role focuses on cost-effective procurement, timely delivery, supplier performance, and compliance with quality standards.

Candidates with a PCB manufacturing background are highly preferred. You will coordinate with Planning, Production, Engineering, Quality, Warehouse, and Finance to meet production needs and drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's/Diploma in supply chain, procurement, business or engineering fields.
• 3–5 years procurement experience, preferably in PCB manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of PCB materials, chemicals, components and processes.
• Experience with supplier sourcing, price negotiation and contract management.
• Proficient with MRP/ERP systems and MS Excel.
• Excellent English communication; Mandarin preferred.

Responsibilities

• Source and procure raw materials, PCB components, chemicals, and indirect materials for production.
• Evaluate and select suppliers based on cost, quality, delivery, and technical capability.
• Negotiate prices, payment terms, contracts, and delivery schedules.
• Prepare and issue purchase orders; monitor status for on-time delivery.
• Coordinate with Planning, Production, Engineering, Quality, Warehouse, and Finance.
• Monitor supplier performance: quality, lead time, delivery, and cost.
• Address shortages, disruptions, quality issues, and delays with corrective actions.
• Conduct market research and identify alternate suppliers to mitigate risk.
• Maintain procurement records and supplier data; support cost-reduction initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Source and procure raw materials, chemicals, PCB components, consumables, and indirect materials required for production.

• Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers based on cost, quality, delivery performance, capacity, and technical capabilities.

• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, contracts, and delivery schedules with suppliers.

• Prepare and issue Purchase Orders (POs) and monitor order status to ensure timely delivery.

• Coordinate closely with Planning, Production, Engineering, Quality, Warehouse, and Finance teams to meet production requirements.

• Monitor and manage supplier performance, including quality, lead time, delivery reliability, and cost competitiveness.

• Follow up on material shortages, supply disruptions, quality issues, and delivery delays, and coordinate appropriate corrective actions.

• Conduct market research and identify alternative suppliers to minimize supply chain risks and improve competitiveness.

• Maintain accurate procurement records, supplier information, purchase orders, and related documentation.

• Support cost reduction, supplier development, and continuous improvement initiatives.

• Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies, procedures, and quality requirements.

• Perform other procurement-related duties as assigned by the Manager.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.

• Minimum 3–5 years of procurement experience, preferably within the PCB (Printed Circuit Board) manufacturing industry.

• Strong knowledge of PCB raw materials, chemicals, components, manufacturing processes, and supply chain operations.

• Experience in supplier sourcing, quotation comparison, price negotiation, contract management, and supplier performance evaluation.

• Good understanding of MRP/ERP systems and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.

• Strong analytical, negotiation, communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

• Good command of English in both written and verbal communication.

• Mandarin/Chinese-speaking candidates are preferred, particularly for communication and coordination.

• Strong supplier relationship management and follow-up skills.
