KMWE Malaysia Sdn Bhd. is seeking a Procurement Executive to manage supplier relationships, ensure competitive pricing and timely delivery, and support cross-functional teams to prevent material shortages.

The role requires a diploma or degree in supply chain or related field, strong Excel and ERP experience, and solid negotiation and analytical skills. You will engage with Production, Planning, Sales Operations, Quality and Logistics to optimize SCM performance.

Qualifikationen

• Diploma or Bachelor Degree in Supply Chain Management or Business related; or at least 2–4 years of related experience.
• Good understanding of purchasing and supply chain management processes.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel; ERP system experience is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and supplier management skills.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Aufgaben

• Manage supplier relationships to achieve competitive pricing, quality, and reliable delivery.
• Prepare and issue purchase orders accurately in accordance with company procedures.
• Follow up on purchase order confirmations within 3 working days and ensure delivery dates are updated in the ERP system.
• Monitor supplier on-time delivery performance and expedite urgent orders to meet production and customer demands.
• Manage delivery rescheduling, order cancellations, and purchase order reconciliation with suppliers.
• Work closely with Production, Planning, Sales Operations, Quality, and Logistics teams to prevent material shortages and delivery disruptions.
• Participate in weekly operations and Engineering Change Notice (ECN) meetings to address supply chain risks and material changes.
• Monitor supplier quality issues, Return to Vendor (RTV) cases, and material receipt status.
• Resolve supplier invoice discrepancies and coordinate prepayment documentation when required.
• Prepare weekly SCM updates and elevate supplier-related issues to the Head of Department.
• Conduct supplier visits when necessary to resolve quality or delivery issues and support continuous improvement.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Head of Department.

Job Requirements

Diploma or Bachelor Degree in Supply Chain Management or Business related; or at least 2 to 4 years of related experience and training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Good understanding of purchasing and supply chain management processes.

Proficient in Microsoft Excel; ERP system experience is an advantage.

Strong analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.

Good communication and supplier management skills.

Able to work independently with minimal supervision and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
