SGS Testing & Control Services Singapore is seeking a Procurement Executive to support end-to-end procurement activities, including RFQ, supplier sourcing, price comparison, PO issuance, and approval coordination in line with SGS policies.
You will assist in reviewing PR/PO in the ERP/Oracle iProcurement system, maintain records, assist AVL/CPA/BPA, and generate procurement spend reports while collaborating with business units.
Responsible for supporting end-to-end procurement activities, including RFQ, supplier sourcing and selection, price comparison, Purchase Order issuance, and approval coordination, in accordance with SGS policies and procedures.
Support the Procurement Manager in daily procurement operations and ensure procurement activities comply with SGS policies and procedures.
Review and process Purchase Requisitions and Purchase Orders in the ERP/Oracle iProcurement system.
Maintain accurate procurement records, including PR/PO tracking, supplier records, and procurement-related documentation.
Follow up on Open PO status, delivery progress, and Goods Receipt completion with requestors and suppliers.
Support supplier registration, reactivation, and maintenance of the Approved Vendor List (AVL).
Assist in maintaining Contract Purchase Agreements (CPA) and Blanket Purchase Agreements (BPA).
Support sourcing activities for low-value purchases in accordance with procurement guidelines.
Prepare price comparison summaries and procurement evaluations to support Business Units in supplier selection.
Generate and distribute procurement spend reports to relevant departments.
Handle procurement-related queries and follow-ups from Business Units.
Perform any other duties assigned by the Procurement Manager.
Minimum Diploma in any discipline.
At least 1 year of relevant working experience in supply chain, logistics, purchasing, inventory, materials management, or warehouse management.
Bilingual in English and Mandarin, with the ability to communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, including functions such as PivotTables and VLOOKUP.
Experience with Oracle ERP or other procurement systems will be an advantage.
Good understanding of purchasing procedures, procurement policies, and sourcing best practices.
Prior experience in laboratory-related procurement or operational purchasing will be an advantage.
Good interpersonal, communication, analytical, problem-solving, negotiation, sourcing, and report-writing skills.
Strong team player with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders across different levels and functions.
Proactive, responsible, and self-motivated, with a positive working attitude.
Meticulous and well-organised, with the ability to manage procurement documentation and follow-ups accurately.
Able to work independently with minimal supervision while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
