Job summary

3C Metal is a global engineering, procurement and construction contractor with a diversified portfolio across oil and gas, green tech, renewables, power, marine and mining. Based in Johor, Malaysia, we seek a Procurement Coordinator to manage RFQs, supplier pricing, purchase orders and delivery coordination.

You will engage with suppliers, negotiate terms, ensure traceability and collaborate with logistics to secure timely materials for projects.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in procurement.
• Knowledge and understanding of procurement processes, policy and systems.
• Knowledge of export and import procedures beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Review the requirement received from project incharge and float the RFQ’s to relevant suppliers.
• Gather prices from relevant suppliers and submit them to project team for review.
• Negotiate the best deal for pricing and delivery as per project requirement.
• Prepare the purchase order and submit to project incharge for approval.
• Send the purchase order to supplier and ensure that supplier obtain the acknowledgement from supplier.
• Follow up on Material Traceability Certificates, if missing.
• Coordinate with Logistic team to arrange the collection of material once ready.
• Create relationships with the long term/reliable suppliers to ensure the best service and delivery is guaranteed.
• Explore and source new suppliers.
• Make professional decisions in a fast-paced environment
• Maintain and update a list of suppliers and their qualifications
• Work with the senior procurement coordinator to complete duties as needed

Profile

We Seek The Ideal Candidate Profile With

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in the field
• High School certification or higher
• Knowledge and understanding of procurement processes, policy, and systems
• Knowledge of local market
• Proficient computer skills
• Knowledge of export and Import procedures will be beneficial.
