Job summary

Ken-World Corporation Sdn Bhd is seeking a procurement professional to manage requisitions, quotations, and purchasing activities. The role involves sourcing suppliers, evaluating performance, and ensuring adherence to SOPs while communicating in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin.

Based in Selangau, Sarawak, Malaysia. The ideal candidate has at least 2 years in procurement, strong negotiation skills, and proficiency in MS Office.

Responsibilities:

Manage approved purchase requisitions, obtain and compare quotations from authorized suppliers, and ensure purchases are cost-effective and in line with company guidelines.

Prepare and issue Purchase Orders, verify received goods against Delivery Orders, invoices and other supporting documents, and maintain proper procurement records.

Source and evaluate new suppliers, maintain good supplier relationships, and monitor supplier performance, quality, pricing and delivery.

Ensure all procurement activities comply with company SOPs.

Requirements:

Minimum 2 years of working experience in procurement or relevant position.

Good command of written and spoken English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.

Strong negotiation, interpersonal and communication skills.

Attention to details and analytical.

Good organizational and multitasking skills.

Proficient in MS Office applications.

Willing to work in estate environment and to be based in Selangau, Sarawak.
