Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a production technician for a manufacturing facility in Klang City. The role involves performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting machinery, and supporting packaging operations while ensuring quality checks are completed on-line.

The candidate should have 2–3 years of manufacturing experience, a certificate or diploma in a technical field, and be willing to work rotating shifts with overtime. Health benefits and other perks are part of the package.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Basic knowledge of machine operation, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance.
• Willing to work on rotating shift schedule, including overtime.
• Physically fit and able to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Responsible, disciplined, and able to work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on machines and other specified tasks.
• Support in handling glove quality issues in the machine and machine bypass/startup.
• Repair or replace any faulty spare parts in the machine area and troubleshoot machinery issues.
• Oversee packing operation and lead packing workers when supervisor is on rest day or leave.
• Conduct on-line quality inspection checks.

Education

Certificate/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field
