Job summary

ZPLUSPOLYMER SDN BHD in Malaysia is seeking a production operator to operate and monitor machinery for plastic and polymer products. You will prepare, feed, and handle raw materials according to production requirements and perform various manufacturing tasks as assigned.

You will monitor processes to ensure products meet specifications, conduct basic inspections for defects, report issues to the supervisor, and assist with setup, changeovers, cleaning, and packaging.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor production machinery and equipment used for plastic and polymer products
• Prepare, feed, and handle raw materials according to production requirements
• Carry out production, processing, moulding, extrusion, or other manufacturing activities as assigned
• Monitor production processes to ensure products meet the required specifications and quality standards
• Conduct basic visual and dimensional checks on products and identify defects or abnormalities
• Report machine problems, material issues, and production quality issues to the supervisor
• Assist with machine cleaning, setup, changeover, and basic equipment checks
• Handle, pack, label, and arrange finished products properly
• Maintain cleanliness and housekeeping of the production area, machinery, and equipment
• Follow workplace safety procedures and company requirements and assist the production team in achieving daily production targets
