Job summary

Respack Manufacturing Sdn Bhd in Malaysia seeks a skilled Process Technician to operate and maintain extrusion, cutting or printing machines in our production department.

You will monitor production targets, ensure quality and safety, perform start-up/shutdown, and support engineers in process improvements. A minimum of 3 years in manufacturing with machine operation, setup, and troubleshooting is required; experience in plastic film/extrusion is a plus. Shift, weekends, and overtime may apply.

• Experience in plastic film / extrusion / converting is an added advantage.

Job Overview:
We are seeking skilled Process Technicians to operate and maintain our various machines in the production department, covering extrusion, cutting or printing machines.

Responsbilities:

Ensure machines operate according to production targets, quality specifications, and safety requirements.

Monitor process parameters and record production data accurately.

Support efforts to reduce scrap, downtime, and machine stoppages.

Perform machine start-up, shutdown, and product changeover.

Support Production Engineers/Managers in process improvement and productivity improvement.

Requirements:

Minimum 3 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment.

Experience in machine operation, setup, troubleshooting, and production processes is preferred.

Experience in plastic film / extrusion / converting is an added advantage.

Technical Skills

Knowledge of mechanical and electrical troubleshooting.

Able to read and understand machine drawings, electrical schematics, and pneumatic diagrams.

Able to perform machine setup, adjustment, changeover, and basic preventive maintenance.

Able to identify machine abnormalities and perform first-level troubleshooting.

Soft Skills

Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

Able to work independently and as part of a team.

Good communication and reporting skills.

Willing to work shift, weekends, and overtime when required.

Good discipline, responsibility, and attention to detail.
