Job summary

Sanmina Malaysia Bayan Lepas manufactures sophisticated communication products for professional and mission-critical markets. You will help balance lines, boost productivity, and cut cycle times while generating essential manufacturing documentation and ECOs.

The role requires a Diploma in Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering with 3–6 months of experience, CAD proficiency (Pro/Engineer), and familiarity with PCB/box-build assembly and statistical tools.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering with 3–6 months of experience.
• Working knowledge in PCB assembly or box-build assembly manufacturing.
• Familiar with jig and fixture design and CAD tools such as Pro/Engineer.
• Knowledge of statistical tools and data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Manufacture highly sophisticated communication products for professional and mission-critical markets.
• Perform line balancing, improve productivity, reduce cycle time and COPQ.
• Generate and maintain manufacturing BOM, ECO, MPS and pilot reports.
• Troubleshoot product failures and produce corrective actions.
• Provide technical support to value stream team to achieve quality indices.

Job description

• Responsible for the manufacturing of highly sophisticated communication products for the professional and mission critical markets in the commercial, government and industrial segments
• Perform line balancing, improve productivity, reduce cycle time and reduce CoPQ in production.
• Generate and maintain the documents such as manufacturing BOM, Engineering Change Order (ECO), Manufacturing Process Specification (MPS) and pilot report.
• Apply sound engineering knowledge in the trouble shooting product failure, produce failure analysis report and perform corrective action.
• Provide technical support to value stream team in order to achieve business and quality indices.

Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, in Mechanical / Manufacturing engineering with 3~6 month experience.
• Working knowledge in PCB assembly or box-build assembly manufacturing. Knowledge in plastic molding, sheet metal stampings, castings, rubber and elastomers, latest display technology and electro-mechanical components would be an added advantage.
• Knowledge in jig and fixture design, and ability to utilize latest CAD tools such as Pro/Engineer.
