Job summary

Sanmina in Penang invites a manufacturing engineer to contribute to the production of sophisticated communication products for professional and mission critical markets. You will balance production lines, drive productivity, shorten cycle times and reduce CoPQ, while maintaining essential documents such as BOMs, ECOs, MPS and pilot reports.

The role requires a diploma in Mechanical/Manufacturing engineering with 3–6 months' experience, knowledge of PCB assembly, box-build, and familiarity with

• Perform line balancing, improve productivity, reduce cycle time and reduce CoPQ in production.
• Generate and maintain the documents such as manufacturing BOM, Engineering Change Order (ECO), Manufacturing Process Specification (MPS) and pilot report.
• Apply sound engineering knowledge in the trouble shooting product failure, produce failure analysis report and perform corrective action.
• Provide technical support to value stream team in order to achieve business and quality indices.

Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, in Mechanical / Manufacturing engineering with 3~6 month experience.
• Working knowledge in PCB assembly or box-build assembly manufacturing. Knowledge in plastic molding, sheet metal stampings, castings, rubber and elastomers, latest display technology and electro-mechanical components would be an added advantage.
• Knowledge in jig and fixture design, and ability to utilize latest CAD tools such as Pro/Engineer.
