Job summary

Sanmina Corporation in Bayan Lepas, Penang, Malaysia seeks an entry‑level Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineer with 3–6 months of experience to join the production team. You will contribute to line balancing, process improvements and documentation control across manufacturing BOMs, ECOs and MPS.

Strong CAD/Pro/Engineer skills and basic statistical tools are expected. The role requires willingness to work on site in Bayan Lepas and exposure to PCB and box-build assembly environments, with growth

Qualifications

Diploma with 3-6 months experience in mechanical/manufacturing engineering.
Knowledge of PCB assembly, box-build, plastics, sheet metal, castings, elastomers, display tech is a plus.
Knowledge of jig/fixture design and CAD tools such as Pro/Engineer.
Knowledge of statistical tools.
Willing to work in Bayan Lepas.

Responsibilities

Manufacture highly sophisticated communication products for professional and mission-critical markets.
Perform line balancing, improve productivity, reduce cycle time and CoPQ in production.
Generate and maintain documents such as manufacturing BOM, ECO, MPS and pilot report.
Apply engineering knowledge to troubleshoot product failures and produce failure analysis reports with corrective actions.
Provide technical support to the value stream team to achieve business and quality indices.
