Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a Process Manager located in Bukit Minyak, Penang.

The Process Manager is managing technical manufacturing projects, for optimizing costs, productivity and compliance with operational functional goals, between Flex and customers, obtaining continuous improvement in all operations processes.

What a typical day looks like:
  • Verify daily checks of Operations Customer needs, engineering changes, capacity planning and resource metrics manufacturing unit.
  • Know and understand the needs of the different functional areas.
  • Run and adequately convey the guidelines of ISO 9000 and other quality systems.
  • Achieve customer's retention with Flex services and products.
  • Manage preventative maintenance schedules and calibration, care of equipment capital charge, the efficient use of available technology.
  • Create documented evidence of the key processes using the tools of information.
  • Ensure the implementation of Lean Manufacturing and zero defects in the Site.
  • Develop operational and technical areas based on major policies established by the Education area.
  • Participate in formal communication exercises set by the company.
  • Ensure the growth of the company with qualified personnel.
  • Ensure training and certification of production operators are done accordingly.
  • Ensure process sustainable for Yield / Quality.
  • Ensure new process development and capability.
  • Monitor process change control.
  • Handle project implementation and evaluation.
  • Adequately meet and exceed customer expectations using official tools.
  • Ensure continuous improvement of technical and operational processes to know and understand the relationship with suppliers and internal customers.
  • Able to evaluate problems and identify the necessary approach to manage the project.
The experience we're looking to add to our team:
  • Typically requires a Bachelor's Degree in a related field or equivalent experience and training. A Master's or MBA degree is preferred.
  • Typically requires a minimum of 5 years of operations experience, including supervision.
