Job summary

PHN Industry Sdn Bhd, a DRB-HICOM subsidiary, is seeking an Engineering Executive in Shah Alam to drive tooling and equipment development, ensure schedule adherence, and lead new line setups.

You will coordinate master schedules, prepare process layouts, control plans and FMEA, and develop documentation for production flows while applying 4M and quality on the shop floor.

Qualifications

• Degree in any engineering field.
• Experienced in 4M management and quality on the shop floor.
• Good communication and leadership skills.
• Fluent in Bahasa Melayu and English (written and spoken).

Responsibilities

• Complete projects assigned by management.
• Prepare master schedule for tooling and equipment development.
• Ensure tooling development adheres to schedule.
• Conduct PDI for tooling and equipment.
• Ensure tooling development meets QCD targets.
• Lead in new line setup and process layout.
• Develop Control Plan and FMEA for new process.
• Prepare training for non-executive staff.
• Improve cycle time and overall process efficiency.
• Document overall project and production flow.

Job description

1. Completion of project assigned by management

To prepare overall master schedule for tooling and equipment development.

To ensure tooling and equipment development is as per schedule.

To conduct PDI for tooling and equipment.

To ensure tooling and equipment development able to meet QCD target.

2. Production line facilities readiness for SOP

Lead in new line set up

Preparation of new process Layout & Flow

Preparation of Control Plan and FMEA for new process.

Responsible for Training Development of Non-Executive.

Responsible for Cycle time Achievement & Process Improvement

3. Project Filing & Documentation

Develop documentation for Overall Project

Preparation of total production flow.

Work Instruction, OPS and Visual Control

Part List and BOM Development

4. Reporting

Preparation

Key Requirements

Degree in any engineering field

Experienced in 4M management and quality in shop floor.

Good Communication and leadership skills

Fluent in Bahasa Melayu and English for both written and verbal.
