Job summary

Flex is hiring a Process Engineer based in Malaysia (PTP) to strengthen cost, quality and delivery improvements in our manufacturing operations. You will define, implement and evaluate manufacturability for new and existing processes, work with engineering and production teams, and lead process control initiatives.

Responsibilities include identifying root causes, implementing capital equipment, ECOs, training production staff, and driving safety and productivity improvements across the plant.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience.
• 2 years of manufacturing/process engineering experience.

Responsibilities

• Identify manufacturing processes, technologies, and products.
• Define, implement and evaluate manufacturable designs and processes.
• Identify root causes of process failures.
• Participate in daily production activities and solve daily issues.
• Prepare justifications and implement capital equipment.
• Coordinate new process implementations and transfers with production.
• Develop and own process control methodologies.
• Coordinate safety and productivity improvements.
