Job summary

Flex is seeking a Process Engineer based in Johor, Malaysia. The role reports to the Engineering Manager and focuses on cost, quality and throughput improvements in manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

• Recognize the manufacturing process, technologies, techniques and the product.
• Define, implement and evaluate proposed designs and processes for manufacturability.
• Identify root causes of failures in the manufacturing process.
• Participate in daily production activities and solve daily issues.
• Prepare justification, purchase and implement capital equipment for production.
• Hold up and oversee new process equipment production.
• Establish robust, repeatable and reproducible process parameters.
• Develop and take ownership of process control methodologies.
• Troubleshoot process related issues.
• Participate in cycle time and process improvements.
• Evaluate and select engineered materials.
• Implement safety, productivity and improvements.
• Improve manufacturing techniques and throughput.
• Provide continuous development of manufacturing techniques and process documentation.
