Job summary

Flex is seeking a Process Engineer based at the PTP site, reporting to the Engineering Manager. The role involves recognizing manufacturing processes, defining manufacturability, and driving process improvements across equipment, parameters and methods.

The candidate will lead root-cause analysis, support daily production activities, and develop robust process documentation while facilitating training during technology transfers and new equipment implementation.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience and training.
• Typically requires 2 years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Recognize the manufacturing process, technologies, techniques and the product.
• Define, implement and evaluate proposed designs and processes for manufacturability.
• Identify root causes of failures in the manufacturing process.
• Participate in day-to-day production activities and solve problems.
• Prepare justification and implement capital equipment for production.
• Develop and maintain process documentation.
• Interface with production during new process implementation and transfer.
• Provide training to production personnel during technology transfer.
