Job summary

Rohde & Schwarz (China) Technology Co., Ltd. in Malaysia is seeking a Manufacturing/ SAP-focused engineer to manage SAP Material Masters, routing sequences, and production line layouts.

You will lead ECR implementations and manufacturing readiness for new products, while coordinating with R&D, Quality and Supply Chain to ensure smooth transfers. Qualifications

• Experience in SAP Material Masters, routing sequences and work center configurations.
• Ability to plan and implement ECRs from R&D to production.
• Strong lean manufacturing and Kaizen background; familiarity with VSM.
• Proven cross-functional collaboration with R&D, Production, Quality and Supply Chain.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain SAP Material Masters, routing sequences, component consumption, and work center configurations.
• Provide first-level SAP troubleshooting and support.
• Plan and implement ECRs from R&D to production with smooth transitions.
• Lead manufacturing readiness for new product introductions.
• Support product transfers from global Rohde & Schwarz sites.
• Design, create, and optimize process flows and production line layouts.
• Establish standard work instructions and manufacturing procedures.
• Perform detailed cost calculations within SAP.
• Conduct cycle time measurements and analysis for current and new processes to improve efficiency.
• Collaborate with R&D, Production, Quality, Supply Chain, and Engineering teams.
• Partner with R&D to support Design for Manufacturing (DFM).
• Lead Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping projects.
• Optimize material flow, inventory, cycle time, throughput, line balancing and capacity planning.

• Establish standard work instruction and manufacturing procedures.
