Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a dedicated process engineer to monitor and control daily manufacturing parameters, ensuring compliance with WI, PCP, and process specifications. You will analyze data, identify trends, and drive improvements to yield and cost efficiency.

The role covers CAPA investigations, technical support, and preparation for customer and Nadcap audits, with emphasis on maintaining process stability and traceability across production.

Responsibilities

• Monitor daily process parameters and ensure they stay within approved control limits.
• Ensure operators follow Work Instructions, Process Control Plans and process specifications; verify records for accuracy and traceability.
• Identify abnormal trends and take timely corrective action; prevent unauthorized changes to process parameters.
• Analyse process data, trends and variations; monitor stability and capability; prepare performance reports and recommend improvements.
• Lead troubleshooting, CAPA to reduce defects, rework, and variability; support trials and new product development.
• Prepare and update process documents and operating parameters; provide technical guidance and training to production personnel; support audits.

1. Process Monitoring and Control (Core Role)

• Monitor daily process parameters
• Ensure all process parameters remain within approved control limits.
• Identify abnormal trends and take timely corrective action.

2. Process Compliance

• Ensure operators follow approved Work Instructions (WI), Process Control Plans (PCP) and process specifications.
• Verify process records for accuracy, completeness and traceability.
• Prevent unauthorized changes to process parameters.

3. Process Analysis

• Analyse process data, trends and variations.
• Monitor process stability and capability.
• Prepare process performance reports and recommend improvements.

4. Troubleshooting and CAPA

• Investigate process-related defects and non-conformances.
• Support root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Verify action effectiveness and prevent recurrence.
• Improve process consistency, yield, cycle time and productivity.
• Reduce defects, rework, process variation and operating costs.
• Support process trials, validation and new product development.

6. Technical and Audit Support

• Prepare and update process documents and operating parameters.
• Provide technical guidance and training to production personnel.
• Support customer, quality-system and Nadcap audits.
