Job summary

Season Malaysia Manufacturing Sdn Bhd is seeking a Process Engineering Assistant to support daily manufacturing operations by maintaining stable processes, troubleshooting issues, and driving improvements to yield, quality, productivity, and cost.

You will work with the Process Engineer, monitor production metrics, prepare work instructions, support NPI activities, PFMEA, SPC, and setup jigs and Poka-Yoke devices, while coordinating with production and quality teams.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical/Electronic/Mechatronic or related field).
• Minimum 2 years working experience in related field.
• Ability to communicate with all levels of employees.

Responsibilities

• Support Process Engineer in maintaining and improving production processes.
• Assist in troubleshooting process issues and implementing corrective actions.
• Monitor daily production yield, defects, and process performance.
• Prepare and maintain work instructions and process documents.
• Support NPI activities, including workstation setup and process readiness.
• Assist in PFMEA, SPC monitoring, and Control Plan implementation.
• Support development of jigs, fixtures, and Poka-Yoke devices.
• Assist in process trials, validation, and engineering builds.
• Support preventive maintenance for jigs, fixtures, and equipment.
• Work with production and quality teams to resolve daily manufacturing issues.
• Support RMA investigation and 8D corrective actions for process-related issues.
• Perform other duties assigned by the superior.
