HEJIN GROUP (MALAYSIA) SDN BHD in Gelang Patah, Johor, is hiring a Process Engineer to optimize manufacturing processes and drive continuous improvement on the shop floor. This full-time role focuses on supporting production machines, data recording, and adherence to quality and safety standards.

You will collaborate with engineering and production teams, assist in machine setup and NPI trials, and contribute to cost reduction and efficiency initiatives in a fast-growing electronics

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or diploma in a related field.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply; experience in manufacturing is an advantage.
• Basic knowledge of electronics or machine operation (SMT/DIP preferred).
• Willing to work in a production environment and shift (if required).
• Able to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
• Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Responsible, disciplined, and willing to learn.
• Basic computer knowledge for data recording.

Responsibilities

• Operate and support engineering and production machines (e.g., SMT, DIP, testing equipment).
• Assist engineers in machine setup, troubleshooting, and process improvement.
• Perform basic maintenance and ensure machines are in good working condition.
• Monitor production processes and report any abnormalities or defects.
• Support new product introduction (NPI) and engineering trials.
• Record production data and maintain accurate documentation.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards and work instructions.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean working environment.
• Assist in continuous improvement activities to enhance productivity and quality.
• Perform any ad-hoc tasks assigned by supervisors or engineers.
• Prepare, update, and maintain BOM, SOP, Work Instructions and document in system.
