Key Responsibilities
Technical Leadership
- Serve as the technical authority for manufacturing processes, equipment, and products within the assigned area of responsibility.
- Lead the development, qualification, validation, and implementation of new manufacturing processes, equipment, and technologies to support New Product Introduction (NPI) and production expansion initiatives.
- Establish and drive engineering standards, best practices, and process control methodologies to ensure operational excellence.
Process Improvement & Optimization
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on yield enhancement, Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), productivity, quality, capacity utilization, and cost reduction.
- Lead process capability studies, line balancing, and capacity analysis to optimize manufacturing performance and throughput.
- Identify and implement innovative solutions to improve process robustness, efficiency, and scalability.
Problem Solving & Technical Support
- Lead complex troubleshooting activities involving process, equipment, product quality, and manufacturing performance issues.
- Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) and implement effective corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to prevent recurrence.
- Provide technical guidance and support to Production, Quality, Planning, Warehouse, and Engineering teams to ensure stable and efficient operations.
- Ensure compliance with customer requirements, product specifications, regulatory standards, and safety requirements.
Project Management
- Lead cross-functional engineering projects from concept through implementation, validation, and production release.
- Conduct technical risk assessments and develop mitigation plans to ensure successful project execution.
- Monitor project progress, resource utilization, and deliverables to achieve business objectives within established timelines.
Data Analysis & Reporting
- Analyze manufacturing performance data, including yield, scrap, downtime, OEE, and other key performance indicators (KPIs), to identify improvement opportunities.
- Utilize data-driven methodologies and statistical tools to support decision-making and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Prepare and present technical reports, project updates, and performance reviews to management.
Coaching & Knowledge Development
- Mentor and develop engineers and technicians by providing technical guidance, knowledge sharing, and professional development support.
- Promote a culture of technical excellence, continuous learning, and operational discipline across the organization.
Documentation & Compliance
- Develop, review, and maintain engineering documentation, including Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Work Instructions (WIs), validation protocols, and process specifications.
- Ensure compliance with applicable quality management systems, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.
- Support internal, customer, and certification audits as required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in Process Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or product assembly processes within a high-mix manufacturing environment.
- Strong technical expertise in manufacturing processes, production equipment, and engineering principles.
- Demonstrated proficiency in advanced troubleshooting, root cause analysis (RCA), and structured problem-solving methodologies.
- Hands‑on experience with process validation, Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (PFMEA), Control Plans, and Statistical Process Control (SPC).
- Proven track record in process optimization, yield improvement, quality enhancement, productivity improvement, and cost reduction initiatives.
- Strong project management and cross-functional leadership capabilities, with experience leading engineering and operational improvement projects.
- Excellent analytical, communication, presentation, and technical reporting skills, including the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all organizational levels.
- Ability to provide technical leadership, mentor engineers and technicians, and drive knowledge sharing across the organization.

- Proficient in English, with the ability to communicate effectively and collaborate across multicultural and cross-functional teams.
