Season Group is seeking an Industrial Engineer in Malaysia to optimize production processes, balance lines, and drive continuous improvement. You will lead process analysis, lifecycle efficiency, and cost-reduction efforts across electronics manufacturing environments.

You will collaborate with QA, drive lean initiatives (5S, Kaizen) and implement capacity planning with a data-driven approach to meet quality targets and production goals.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years in industrial engineering in electronics manufacturing.
• Experience with PCB/SMT electronics is desirable.
• Strong knowledge of lean, six sigma, and advanced problem-solving.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration.

The Industrial Engineer will play a key role in optimizing manufacturing processes, line layout & line balancing, improving products cycle time,improving efficiency, reducing costs, and ensuring the highest quality standards. This position requires a solid understanding of manufacturing systems, process improvements, and lean manufacturing principles within the electronics industry.

Responsibilities

Process Optimization: Analyze and evaluate manufacturing processes to identify areas for improvement, streamline workflows, reduce waste, and increase overall productivity.

The design and development process for leadership technicians involves monitoring and following up on the daily production processes to ensure that the product meets cost, quality, progress, and compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.

Design and optimize production line layouts to improve workflow efficiency, reduce bottlenecks, and ensure safety and ergonomics.

Cost Reduction: Analyze manufacturing costs and suggest improvements to reduce material waste, energy consumption, and labor costs, while maintaining product quality and meeting production targets.

Capacity Planning: Assess and determine the capacity of current production lines and equipment, and make recommendations for investments in new machinery or technologies to meet production goals.

Data Analysis & Reporting: Utilize data analysis and statistical tools to track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as cycle time, downtime, and scrap rates, and report on progress toward goals.

Work closely with the Quality Assurance team to ensure that production processes align with industry standards and regulatory requirements for product quality and safety.

Lean Manufacturing Implementation: Apply lean manufacturing techniques (5S, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping) to enhance operational efficiency and eliminate non-value-added activities.

Continuous Improvement: Foster a culture of continuous improvement through regular evaluations, process audits, and the implementation of new technologies or techniques.

Workforce Management: Design and implement efficient labor standards, optimize staffing levels, and ensure proper training and development of employees in manufacturing teams.

Review and approve engineering document.

Requirements

Experience: At least 2 years of experience in industrial engineering within an electronics manufacturing environment. Experience with PCB assembly, SMT, or similar electronics manufacturing processes is highly desirable.

Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of industrial engineering principles, lean manufacturing, Six Sigma methodologies, and advanced problem-solving techniques

Education: Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.

Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions to improve processes.

Communication: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and present complex technical information in a clear and concise manner.
