Job summary

Accuris in Malaysia seeks a Pricing Specialist to support pricing activities including renewals, new quotes, rework requests, and custom pricing. You will work with Sales Reps worldwide to meet customer needs while upholding margin and growth targets.

This role provides analytics and process improvements to increase productivity and turnaround time, runs batch pricing processes, and supports projects like model development, value-based pricing, and renewal analysis.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required or combination of education and experience in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Business Studies or equivalent.
• 5+ years of relevant pricing experience; strong English communications.
• Solid understanding of statistics and strong analytical/problem-solving skills.
• Excellent MS Excel skills (pivot tables, charting, data mapping).
• Experience with Power BI and Salesforce preferred but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

Pricing Specialist

Support all pricing activities for the business including renewal pricing, new quotes, rework requests, and custom pricing requests.

Provide analytics and process improvements to increase productivity and turnaround time

Roles and Responsibilities

• Interacts directly with Sales Reps worldwide to understand pricing needs and develop pricing quotes that meet customer needs and conform to margin and growth targets for the business.
• Ensures that defined processes are followed including internal and external approval requirements, margin guidelines, etc.
• Handles large revenue & complex customer accounts
• Runs batch processes to initiate pricing activities.
• Supports projects including model and tool development / refinement, process alignment, value-based pricing, discount and renewal analysis, and Sales and Operations support / training.
• Documents and suggests continuous improvements in pricing processes.
• Proposes price change recommendations, what-if analysis and impact assessments.
• Conducts, interprets, and presents quantitative / qualitative analyses to management.
• Maintains and practise regular pricing update & position

Required Education

• Bachelor’s degree required or combination of education and experience in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Business Studies or equivalent

Required Experience

• Minimum 5 years & plus of relevant experience
• Excellent written and spoken English
• Enthusiastic and proactive team player
• Solid understanding of statistics.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrated ability to conduct, interpret and present quantitative / qualitative analysis.
• Excellent MS Office skills, specifically in Excel (pivot tables, charting, data mapping). VisualBasic & Macro are preferable but not mandatory.
• Power Bi/Salesforce skills are preferred but not mandatory.
