Job summary

Weir Minerals Asia Pacific is seeking a Pricing Data Analyst based in Malaysia to support pricing decisions and governance on onsite operations. You will analyze inputs, manage templates and price workflows, and coordinate with the sales team to implement approved pricing changes.

The role emphasizes data integrity, strict deadline adherence, and collaboration with global teams. Onsite location in Damansara, Selangor, with full-time responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Pricing Data Analysis: Analyze pricing inputs from the executive team, apply logical pricing adjustments across customer and product combinations, and produce accurate pricing outputs daily.
• Excel / Template Management: Maintain and validate pricing templates and formulas to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
• Salesforce Workflow Execution: Manage pricing workflows in Salesforce by tracking pricing review triggers, start/end dates, and task completions.
• Coordination with Sales Team: Liaise with sales teams by creating and following up on pricing tasks, supporting the rollout of approved pricing changes without owning sales decisions.
• Escalation & Deadline Management: Monitor timelines for pricing file completion, proactively elevate any delays or blockers, and ensure all pricing submissions are delivered on time.
• Safety First: Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero harm behaviors in support of our drive towards developing a world-class safety culture.

What you’ll do

Must-haves:

• Strong data analysis skills with attention to detail and accuracy
• Proficiency in Excel and spreadsheet management
• Ability to work with structured datasets and follow defined processes
• Strong ownership of deadlines and proactive escalation skills

Nice-to-haves:

• Experience with Salesforce for workflow tracking
• Familiarity with SAP for data access and export
• Exposure to pricing or commercial datasets
• Comfortable working with clear instructions and structured tasks
