Weir Minerals Asia Pacific is hiring for an on-site production role in Malaysia. You will operate production machinery, monitor performance, and maintain product quality while following strict safety guidelines.

The role requires basic education and the ability to read, write, and speak English and Bahasa Malaysia. Prior manufacturing experience is preferred, and you will join a team dedicated to delivering reliable, cost-effective results in a fast-paced environment.

What you’ll do

Productivity and Efficiency

Operate production machinery and perform daily tasks efficiently to meet production targets. Monitor equipment performance and conduct routine maintenance checks to ensure smooth operations. Success means consistently achieving production goals with minimal downtime. Travel is not typically required.

Quality Maintenance

Follow established procedures to ensure product quality. Perform quality checks and inspections throughout the production process, reporting any defects or issues promptly to supervisors. Success is maintaining high product standards and minimizing defects.

Cost Maintenance

Minimize waste by adhering to production guidelines and operating equipment efficiently. Ensure optimal use of materials and resources, contributing to cost‑saving initiatives by identifying areas for improvement.

Delivery Responsibilities

Ensure products are produced and packaged according to delivery schedules. Maintain accurate records of production output and collaborate with the team to meet deadlines.

What you’ll bring
