Weir in Batu Caves is seeking a Planning Executive to manage detailed production planning and scheduling across rubber and non-rubber lines, ensuring on-time delivery.
You will chair weekly meetings with Operations and Customer Service, drive SAP-based planning, and support new product launches, reporting accurately and upholding safety and compliance.

Production Planning: Manage detailed production planning and scheduling for finished goods across rubber and non-rubber product lines, ensuring delivery to customers at requested times and quantities. Daily activities include monitoring planning execution, clearing MRP exception messages, rescheduling production plans, and coordinating capacity and material planning. Success means timely, accurate plans with minimal delays.
Collaboration and Communication: Chair weekly commitment meetings with Operations and Customer Service teams to align production plans and resolve issues. Maintain clear communication of production plans and updates to stakeholders.
SAP System Management: Execute production planning activities within SAP, including issuing materials plans, production plans, and work orders. Support SAP improvements by advising end users, participating in testing, and identifying process efficiencies.
New Product Development Support: Collaborate with teams on new product launches and ensure planning aligns with production capabilities.
Reporting and Compliance: Ensure accurate and timely submission of production reports and participate in stock takes as required.
Travel Requirements: Minimal travel expected; primarily onsite or hybrid work environment.
