Job summary

Schmaco Auto Parts Industries Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is seeking a skilled Mould Maker to review and analyse drawings, develop moulds, repair and maintain tooling, and ensure accuracy of dimensions.

You will operate various machines, keep equipment in safe condition, report problems, and perform related duties as assigned, contributing to the production of rubber automotive parts for local and overseas markets.

Qualifications

• Review and analyze specifications of drawings and products.
• Develop, build and service moulds, inspection tooling, fixtures and related equipment.
• Operate various machines following correct procedures and instructions.
• Maintain machines and tools in safe, clean condition and ready for use.
• Measure mould cavity dimensions to ensure accuracy.
• Report perceived problems with machines, moulds and tooling to supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Inspect the quality and finish of moulds and tooling.
• Use appropriate tools for machining functions and fix mould damages as required.
• Keep moulds and equipment in designated locations and maintain maintenance schedules.
• Adhere to company rules and safety regulations as stated in appointment letter.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by supervisor.
