Job summary

Schmaco Auto Parts Industries Sdn Bhd is seeking a Production Supervisor in Malaysia to plan, monitor and manage daily mould and die fabrication and production in order to meet productivity goals.

The role involves coordinating with Marketing on order urgency, maintaining mould storage, recording stock, ensuring ISO 9001 compliance and upholding safety, 5S and housekeeping in the production area. Prior experience in a continuous production environment is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Experience with ISO 9001 Quality Management System
• Experience in continuous production environment
• Ability to plan, monitor and arrange job schedule for mould and die fabrication
• Ability to liaise with multiple departments for timely orders

Responsibilities

• To plan, monitor and arrange job schedule for the fabrication of mould and die.
• To arrange and manage daily production to ensure productivity goals are met.
• To liaise with Marketing on order urgency and prioritise delivery dates.
• To prepare and analyse daily and monthly reports and job done.
• To oversee maintenance of machineries and minimise downtime; coordinate with Production for repairs.
• To ensure moulds are stored properly and stock is recorded in stock cards.
• To ensure ISO 9001 procedures and quality management are complied with.
• To maintain safety, 5S and housekeeping in the production area.
• To maintain subordinates' discipline, motivate and resolve issues.
• To provide training to personnel and ensure training effectiveness.
• To ensure compliance with new government regulations or statutory law.
• To suggest improvements to facilities, equipment or procedures to improve safety, quality and efficiency.
• To adhere to company rules as per appointment letter.
• To perform any other related duties as assigned.
