Job summary

Global Precious Metals is seeking an Operations Associate in Kuala Lumpur to support trade execution, price fixing, logistics and inventory management. You will maintain accurate records of executed trades and coordinate with refiners, metals desks, vaulting and transport providers to ensure a smooth end-to-end process.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Accounting and at least two years in trade operations or administration, with strong English

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance or Accounting is required.
• Minimum 2 years in trade operations, logistics, or administration; precious metals/commodity trading experience is a plus.
• Strong English communication skills (written and spoken) are essential.
• Proficiency with MS Excel and data handling.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Support execution of trades including price fixing with precision and efficiency.
• Record executed trades accurately and timely.
• Perform reconciliation of trades, positions and inventories.
• Liaise with refiners, metals desks, vaulting and transportation service providers for smooth end-to-end trade processing.
• Process inbound-outbound shipments of precious metals and prepare required documents.
• Maintain filing of trade, inventory, shipment and related documents.
• Perform ad-hoc duties when required.
