Job summary

GoldSilver Central Pte Ltd is expanding its Malaysia desk to cover business development, client relationships and trade execution in the precious metals market. The role focuses on acquiring new clients across Malaysia, managing end‑to‑end client accounts, and coordinating with the Singapore trading desk for pricing and hedging solutions.

You will monitor prices, conduct client onboarding in compliance with AML, and contribute to building a local Malaysian desk with evolving team capabilities.

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience in financial sales, securities brokerage, treasury, bullion or structured products.
• Proficiency in English; Mandarin/Cantonese advantageous.
• Competent in charting and trading platforms and spreadsheet-based analysis.

Responsibilities

• Identify, prospect and acquire new clients across Malaysia through networking, referrals, industry events and direct market outreach.
• Develop and execute a client acquisition plan for the Malaysian market, locally and internationally.
• Manage client accounts and transactions end to end, including pricing enquiries, trade execution, settlement, delivery and storage instructions, and post-trade servicing.
• Act as the primary point of contact for all assigned client relationships.
• Liaise with the Singapore trading desk to obtain pricing and hedging solutions for client requirements and communicate those solutions clearly and accurately to clients.
• Monitor spot gold and silver prices, USD/MYR, USD/SGD, local premiums and macroeconomic developments.
• Provide clients with timely market commentary, product information and operational support.
• Conduct client due diligence and onboarding, maintain transaction records, and escalate suspicious activity in accordance with AML requirements.
• Contribute to the setup of the Malaysia desk, including local processes, partner relationships and recruitment/supervision of team members.
