Pre-Sales Engineer - Data Center & Power Solutions

Job summary

ENPLUS SDN BHD is seeking a technical sales engineer to support sales and project teams in developing solutions for data centres, power infrastructure, and industrial projects in Malaysia.

You will work closely with customers, equipment manufacturers, suppliers, and internal engineering teams to create compliant, practical, and cost-effective solutions from enquiry through tender submission and project handover.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics or related discipline.
• 2–5 years of experience in technical sales, pre-sales engineering, tendering, proposal engineering or project engineering.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; AutoCAD experience is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Review enquiries, tender specs, technical requirements, drawings, BOMs and scope of work.
• Prepare technical proposals, compliance matrices, equipment selections and tender docs.
• Develop solutions for genset containers, enclosures, PTUs and power modules; perform preliminary calculations and layouts.
• Coordinate with suppliers and principals for quotations and technical data; prepare cost estimates and comparisons.
• Support sales meetings, tender negotiations and handover with drafting, procurement, production and project teams.
