Job summary

Idealseed Resources Sdn Bhd is seeking an Application Engineer to support sales and project teams by designing tailored data center infrastructure solutions. You will select products, craft technical proposals, and integrate systems across UPS, Busway, PDU, racks and containment.

You will collaborate with vendors, deliver technical demos and workshops, and prepare BOQs and diagrams. The role requires strong communication and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• 3+ years experience in data center or electrical infrastructure design.
• Strong knowledge of UPS, Busway, PDU, cooling concepts, containment, and rack/cable management.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD or Visio is a plus.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with sales to understand client requirements and propose Data Center infrastructure solutions.
• Provide technical support and product recommendations during pre-sales.
• Prepare technical documentation, system diagrams, BOQ, and proposals.
• Customize solutions involving UPS, PDU, Track Busway, Racks, Containment and cable management.
• Coordinate with vendors and internal teams for integration and compatibility.
• Conduct customer presentations, product demos and technical workshops.
• Stay updated on data center industry trends and technologies.
