Job summary

JOINTHIRE SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. is seeking a Marketing Manager cum Accessories Specialist for its Malaysian operations.

The role leads a Marketing Support and Product Team, plans exhibitions and promotions, and drives growth through product planning and strategic branding. The ideal candidate has a marketing degree, 2+ years in power tools, and strong skills in digital marketing, branding, and team leadership. Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin is a plus.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in the power tools industry.
Strong knowledge of power tools accessories.
Proven experience in marketing management, promotion planning, branding, and digital marketing.
Experience in leading and managing a team, preferably at a Manager level.
Strong computer literacy with experience in administrative and analytical work.
Proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin is an advantage to liaise with relevant stakeholders.
Must possess own transport and be willing to travel as required.

Responsibilities

Plan, develop, and execute company marketing activities, branding, and promotion initiatives aligned with business strategy.
Lead, coach, and manage the Marketing Support and Product Team (5 members) to ensure effective teamwork and execution.
Plan and coordinate exhibitions, roadshows, product launches, dealer seminars, and end-user events with sales and business development teams.
Develop and propose end-user promotions for products and accessories to generate demand and support dealer sell-out activities.
Act as the Accessories Specialist to drive business growth through product planning, market development, and focused sales initiatives.
Oversee marketing materials, design, website, social media, and advertising activities, including vendor coordination.
Collaborate with Product and Sales teams to develop strategies for market share expansion and consistent branding.
Evaluate cost-effectiveness and performance of marketing activities and manage marketing merchandise efficiently.
Monitor market and competitor activities and prepare timely performance reports for management.
