Job summary

Borri Asia Pacific Engineering Sdn Bhd is seeking a Service Sales Engineer or Senior Service Sales Engineer to grow our service and after-sales business across the Asia-Pacific region. The role involves identifying new service opportunities, promoting maintenance services and service contracts, and building strong relationships with customers.

The position will be offered based on qualifications and experience, with travel overseas and regular customer visits required to drive business

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent qualification in Electrical, Electronic, Mechatronic, Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Experience in service sales, sales engineering, or technical sales within electrical, power systems, energy equipment or related industry is preferred.
• Candidates with strong technical knowledge and sales potential may be considered.
• Willingness to travel overseas and outstation regularly.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new service sales opportunities.
• Promote maintenance services, repairs, service contracts, spare parts, upgrades, and other after-sales solutions.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers.
• Conduct customer visits and recommend suitable technical solutions based on their requirements.
• Prepare and follow up on quotations, technical proposals, tenders, and commercial offers.
• Work closely with the Service and Sales teams to ensure customers receive timely and effective support.
• Achieve assigned sales targets and submit regular sales forecasts and activity reports.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify business opportunities.
• Follow up on outstanding payments from assigned customers when required.
• Travel overseas and outstation regularly for customer visits and business development activities.

Education
