Job summary

Mindteck Software Malaysia Sdn Bhd is seeking an engineering professional to support complex power projects, deliver technical solutions, and mentor junior engineers. You will act as the liaison between Project Managers and the engineering team to plan and direct work.

Requirements include a bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field (master’s preferred), 2–6 years in power projects, and proficiency with AutoCAD, Creo, and MS Project.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field; master's preferred.
• 2–6 years of experience in power/project engineering.
• Experience with AutoCAD/Creo and MS Project is preferred.
• Familiarity with high voltage equipment and protective relays.
• Strong planning, ISO 9001 quality practices, and ISO 31000 risk processes.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering to support complex projects and develop technical solutions.
• Mentor junior engineers and engineering interns.
• Serve as liaison for Project Managers to plan and direct work.
• Assess project engineering input and identify technical risks.
• Develop and maintain engineering delivery plans and track progress.
• Interface with customers, sub-suppliers, and construction teams on technical matters.
