Job summary

Mindteck is seeking a Commissioning Engineer in Malaysia to support complex projects, provide technical solutions, and mentor junior engineers. You will coordinate with Project Managers to plan and direct work for the team, assess engineering input needs and manage risks, while developing delivery plans aligned with project goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or related field; master's preferred.
• Extensive experience in previous power projects (power generation, green energy, distribution, substation, high voltage).
• Create, review and critique designs, commissioning test plans, procedures, and reports.
• Adhere to ISO 9001 quality work practices and ISO 31000 risk assessment.
• Develop and maintain engineering deliverable plans and track progress for the team.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering to support complex projects and technical solutions.
• Mentor junior engineers and interns.
• Coordinate with Project Managers to plan and direct work for junior engineers.
• Assess project input requirements and identify engineering risks.
• Develop engineering delivery plans and manage deliverables.
• Interface with customers and sub-suppliers on engineering matters.
• Interface with construction and commissioning teams on technical matters.
