Job summary

Portal One Sdn Bhd is seeking an IT/Networking Technician to install, troubleshoot, and maintain CCTV, door access, IP phones, and IT networks. You will perform wiring and hardware installation, create network diagrams with MS Visio, and provide technical support on site.

The role requires traveling to client sites, work outstation, and readiness to work on weekends or public holidays when required. Diploma/Degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering is preferred.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Electrical, Electronics Engineering, or related field.
• Knowledge of networking, troubleshooting, and PC/Printer/Router hardware.
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
• Able to perform wiring and hardware installation.
• Able to use MS Visio for drawings and network diagrams.
• Willing to work under pressure, travel outstation, and work on weekends/public holidays when required.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, and maintain IT, networking, CCTV, Door Access, and IP Phone systems.
• Perform wiring, hardware installation, and basic equipment configuration.
• Troubleshoot network and hardware issues.
• Prepare floor plans, network diagrams, and technical documentation using MS Visio.
• Provide technical support and training when required.
• Travel to client sites and work outstation based on project requirements.
