Job summary
Jora Malaysia is seeking a software professional with hands-on experience in policy 400 (P400) insurance applications and a strong understanding of the insurance domain. You will work in a team supporting policy administration processes, AS/400 environments, and RPG/RPGLE/DB2 technologies, with opportunities to contribute to system integrations and Agile/Scrum projects.
The ideal candidate will have 3–8 years in software development, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate
Qualifications
- Minimum 3–8 years of software development experience.
- Hands-on with Policy 400 (P400) insurance applications.
- Strong understanding of insurance domain (life/general/property & casualty).
- Experience with insurance policy administration processes.
- Knowledge of AS/400 (IBM iSeries) environments preferred.
- Experience with RPG/RPGLE, CL/CLLE, DB2 or related tech advantageous.
- Experience in application support, enhancements and production issue resolution.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
