Job summary

Situ Global (M) Sdn Bhd is seeking a Production Planner to oversee production and raw material planning, coordinating schedules to fulfill customer requirements and achieve company targets. The role requires 2+ years in production planning or manufacturing, strong Excel skills, and the ability to work with project, supply chain, purchasing, production, and suppliers to optimize stock and throughput.

• Degree in Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration or related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in production planning, material planning, or manufacturing operations.
• Experience in production scheduling, capacity planning, and material planning.
• Good understanding of manufacturing processes and production flow.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including data analysis, formulas, and reporting.
• Able to monitor production plan vs. actual output and identify variances.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and organizational skills.
• Able to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
• Good communication skills in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Chinese.

Responsibilities

• Plan and manage production schedules to meet customer delivery deadlines.
• Compile schedules for material planning, hardware capacity planning, manpower planning, and other resources planning.
• Liaise with project, supply chain, purchasing, production and suppliers to ensure smooth production and optimal stock levels.
• Monitor production performance daily, identify shortages or issues, and resolve them promptly.
• Produce reports such as KPI, machine utilization, and PDS analysis for improvement.

Responsible for production & raw material planning, analysis and performing overall planning for orders received to fulfill customer requirements and achieve company objectives.

Compile schedules for material planning, hardware capacity planning, manpower planning and other resources planning.

Plan and manage production schedules to ensure each operation meets customer delivery deadlines.

Liaise with project, supply chain, purchasing, production & suppliers to ensure smooth run of production and maintain stock build at optimum level.

Monitor production performance in daily basis, identify WIP shortage, raw material shortage, equipment malfunction, others manufacturing concern, and resolve any potential issues in timely manner.

Perform production output monitoring and prepare relevant reports such as KPI, machine utilization, PDS analysis and improvement.

Implement all processes to agreed standards and targets, identifying areas of improvement, and support for continuous improvement

Performance of other ad hoc job as assigned by the superior.

Job Requirement
