CANDIDATES MUST FROM EMS BACKGROUND
Production Material Planning & Coordination
- Lead and supervise the Production Planners and Material Planners in preparing material plans to support SMT, PCB assembly, sub‑assembly, and Box Build schedules.
- Ensure timely issuance and readiness of materials for all production lines.
- Coordinate closely with Production, Engineering, Purchasing, Warehouse, and QA.
- Monitor production plan achievement and identify risks such as shortages, MSL‑sensitive components, or long lead‑time items.
Inventory & Warehouse Management
- Oversee the Warehouse Team, including receiving, storing, issuing, and line‑side material replenishment.
- Ensure warehouse operations comply with FIFO, MSL, ESD, 5S, and safety standards.
- Maintain optimal inventory levels to avoid shortages, downtime, or excess stock.
- Oversee inventory accuracy, cycle count, and annual stock take activities.
- Lead initiatives to reduce material loss, scrap, and obsolete inventory.
SMT & Box Build Material Flow Support
- Ensure smooth material flow from warehouse → SMT feeders → PCB assembly → sub‑assembly → Box Build → final test.
- Ensure smooth Material Flow for Production Line.
- Supervise Production Line and SMT kitting, feeder setup accuracy, replenishment strategy, and traceability.
- Support Box Build material readiness for cables, mechanical parts, plastics, PCBs, and packaging.
- Ensure accurate ERP/MES transactions for all material movement.
Performance Monitoring & Reporting (KPI Management)
- Responsible for monitoring and improving the following key KPIs:
- Production Plan Achievement Rate
- On‑Time Delivery Rate (OTD)
- Inventory Turnover Rate
- Inventory Accuracy Rate
- Material Loss Rate
- Obsolete Inventory Management
- Capacity Assessment
- FIFO, MSL & ESD Compliance
- Prepare weekly/monthly KPI reports, analyze trends, identify root causes, and implement CAPA.
Continuous Improvement
- Lead improvement projects to enhance material flow efficiency and reduce line downtime.
- Support digitalization initiatives such as MES integration, feeder management systems, and barcode scanning.
- Improve traceability, space utilization, and line‑side material management.
- Optimize planner and warehouse manpower planning.
Team Leadership
- Lead, develop, and manage the Planning Team (Production Planners & Material Planners) and Warehouse Team (Warehouse Executives, Storekeepers).
- Ensure all team members follow SOPs, work instructions, and adhere to discipline and accuracy standards.
- Provide training, performance coaching, and skill development.
- Build a culture focused on accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
Requirements / Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Manufacturing, Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 5–8 years’ experience in material planning, SMT material control, warehouse operations, or production support.
- Experience in electronics or medical device manufacturing preferred.
Skills & Technical Competencies
- Have experience with semiconductor, medical, industrial control PCBA manufacturing.
- Experience supporting Box Build assembly (sub‑assembly, wiring, system integration, testing).
- Expertise in BOM structure, routing, traceability for PCB and system assembly.
- Proficient in ERP/MRP systems (SAP, Oracle, Odoo, etc.).
- Strong knowledge of FIFO, MSL, ESD, GMP, AS9100, ISO 9001, ISO 13485.
- Excellent planning, coordination, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
