Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking an experienced engineer to manage robot automation systems and oversee injection molding processes in Penang. You will set up equipment, troubleshoot, and ensure quality in injection‑molded components.

Responsibilities include daily process documentation, PFMEA and control plan preparation, and coordinating with production to resolve process issues. A degree in engineering and at least five years in plastics manufacturing are required; automotive exposure is a plus.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, preferably Plastics/Mechanical/Manufacturing.
• Minimum 5 years of industrial manufacturing experience with Plastic Molding / Automation.
• Automotive industry experience is an added advantage.
• Ability to prepare technical reports and presentations.
• Good knowledge of IATF Core Tools.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and effective communication.

• Handle robot automation systems, including setup, troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and spare parts arrangement.
• Oversee injection molding processes, including machine setup, operation, maintenance, and repair.
• Prepare and produce injection-molded components according to specifications and quality requirements.
• Perform daily process documentation for quality control, traceability, and process reproducibility.
• Prepare and update PFMEA, Control Plan, Setup Instruction, and Work Instruction.
• Coordinate with production teams to resolve process, product quality, and machine issues.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Maintain proper documentation and records.
• Perform Kaizen and continuous improvement activities related to process and maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with IATF 16949, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 requirements.

Job Requirements

• Degree in Engineering, preferably Plastics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of industrial manufacturing experience with Plastic Molding / Automation background.
• Automotive industry experience is an added advantage.
• Able to prepare technical reports and presentations effectively.
• Good knowledge of IATF Core Tools.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
