Job summary

Gradiant in Malaysia is seeking a Water Treatment Plant Operator to oversee daily plant operations, monitor performance, and ensure safe, compliant processes. The role requires hands-on operating skills, record-keeping, and adherence to SOPs and safety standards.

You will handle chemical processes, backwashing, desludging, and basic maintenance while maintaining documentation and participating in trainings. teamwork and strict compliance are essential assets for success.

Responsibilities

• Report to supervisor and communicate abnormalities or breakdowns.
• Operate, monitor, and maintain water & wastewater treatment plant per SOP.
• Ensure DOE compliance, GMP, safety, and housekeeping standards.
• Record daily operations, chemical usage, sampling, testing, and sludge activities.
• Perform chemical handling, backwash, desludging, and basic maintenance support.
• Maintain tools and instruments; attend trainings and carry out tasks assigned by the supervisor.

Job description
