Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a plant operator to support daily operations at the Pasir Gudang facility, ensuring smooth shift handovers and adherence to plant safety and quality standards.

You will monitor valves, pumps and equipment, log process data, alert supervisors to anomalies, and help maintain a clean and efficient production area through shifts, weekends, or overtime as required. This role requires teamwork and a willingness to learn.

Qualifications

• Willing to work shift hours, weekends or overtime when required.
• Strong sense of teamwork and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Listen carefully to the duty told by your reliever regarding the plant status.
• Check all the valves, pumps & equipment of operation & report to the supervisor.
• Check the cleanliness of the plant at the start of the shift.
• Clarify with the supervisor regarding the plant running if any.
• Follow the supervisor's instructions to run the plant.
• Log all the process parameters including the quality reports.
• Inform supervisor if found anything abnormal in the plant.
• Clean the plant premises & equipment at the end of the shift.
• Hand over duty to your reliever with all the information & happenings of your shift.
• Confirm the valve openings with supervisor if not clear.
