Job summary

Gradiant Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. in Selangor, Malaysia is seeking a Plant Operator to support the water and wastewater treatment operations at our facility.

The role requires operating and monitoring the plant per SOP, ensuring safety, DOE compliance, and accurate recording of daily chemical usage, sampling, and sludge activities. Training will be provided, with opportunities to contribute to continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Report to the supervisor and communicate any abnormalities or breakdowns.
• Operate, monitor, and maintain the water & wastewater treatment plant according to SOP.
• Ensure DOE compliance, GMP, safety, and good housekeeping standards.
• Record daily operations, chemical usage, sampling, testing, and sludge activities.
• Perform chemical handling, filter backwash, desludging, and basic maintenance support.
• Maintain tools and instruments, attend trainings/meetings, and carry out tasks assigned by the supervisor.
