Job summary

Chemical Company of Malaysia Berhad (CCM) seeks a senior Human Resources Manager to lead HR and administrative functions at the Pasir Gudang plant. You will partner with Plant Manager and department heads to translate business needs into HR plans, oversee manpower, recruitment, performance management, compensation, and payroll, and drive development and compliance initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in HR/BA/IR or related disciplines
• Minimum 8 years HR experience with at least 3 years in a supervisory role
• Manufacturing/chemical/heavy industry plant experience preferred
• Experience managing full spectrum of HR and administration functions
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with plant management

Responsibilities

• HR Leadership & Business Partnership: serve as primary HR partner to Plant Manager and Department Heads
• Translate business/operational requirements into HR plans and actions
• Manpower planning, recruitment, onboarding and offer management
• Performance and talent management: goal setting, reviews, promotions
• Compensation, benefits, payroll administration, attendance and deductions
• Learning & development: training needs analysis and annual plan
• HR operations & compliance: statutory requirements, records, reporting
• Manage plant administration services and coordinating service providers
