Job summary

Rolls-Royce in Malaysia is seeking a Site Financial Controller to partner with the Plant Finance Manager and translate production activity into clear financial insight. You will own plant costing, inventory controls and capital management for the PowerGen assembly operation.

Lead annual budgets, forecasts and monthly performance reviews, driving profitability, working capital management and robust finance governance across the site. Strong collaboration with operations is essential.

Qualifications

Minimum 7 years’ experience in Financial Controlling, Plant Finance, FP&A or related roles.
Experience supporting manufacturing/assembly environments.
Strong costing, variances, inventory valuation and overhead absorption knowledge.
Experience budgeting, forecasting, month-end close and management reporting.
Ability to partner with Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, Engineering, Procurement and Commercial teams.
Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting; professional qualification preferred (ACCA/CPA/CIMA).

Responsibilities

Partner with the Plant Finance Manager and site leaders to drive profitability and governance.
Own standard costing, bills of materials and overhead allocations for the plant.
Lead planning, budgeting, rolling forecasts and capacity analyses.
Analyse monthly results, identify root causes and drive corrective actions.
Maintain balance-sheet controls and support internal/external audits.
Support productivity, working-capital reduction and cost transparency initiatives.
