Job summary

Ahmad Zaki Resources Berhad is seeking a Construction Planning Engineer based in Pekan, Pahang. You will develop and report on the project plan and performance, prepare construction programs, mitigation and catch-up plans, and manage extension of time requests and progress reporting.

You will liaise with the Project Manager, Construction Manager, and operations team to monitor and update the entire program of work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in civil engineering.
• Proficiency in Primavera P6 and/or Microsoft Project.
• 2–5 years of experience in construction; building construction experience is a plus.
• Willing to be based in Pekan, Pahang.

Responsibilities

• Develop and report on the project plan and performance.
• Prepare construction program, mitigation plan, catch-up plan, extension of time and progress reporting.

• Update the physical progress and provide forecast activity to achieve the target and advise construction manager on planning matters.

• Provide technical explanation to Project Management on suggested planning activities.
• General updating for progress report.
• Provide project progress to client when requested.
• Preparation for extension of time (EOT) and related documents.
• Prepare status of work program with PowerPoint presentation for monthly meeting with consultant and client.

Requirements

Possess a Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering

Proficiency in Primavera P6 and/or Microsoft Project

2-5 years experience in construction industry. Building construction experience is an addedd advantage

Willing to be based in Pekan, Pahang
