Job summary

China State Construction & Engineering Malaysia Sdn Bhd is seeking a capable Project Planner to oversee planning and scheduling across multiple sites, ensuring alignment with contract requirements and master schedules.

You will develop CPM analyses, monitor progress, and coordinate with departments to deliver timely fortnightly progress reports. English and Chinese communication required, with familiarity with PAM/FIDIC and local regulations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in project planning, construction management, or multi-project coordination.
• Familiar with Malaysian project management practices and standard forms of contract (PAM, FIDIC).
• Knowledge of CIDB, DOSH, and BOMBA requirements related to construction projects.
• Proficient in English and Chinese, both spoken and written.

Responsibilities

• Oversee planning and scheduling across all projects.
• Coordinate with departments to compile fortnigh tly progress reports from multiple sites.
• Develop, maintain, and monitor Master Schedules, Key Milestones, and Monthly/Weekly Construction Schedules.
• Perform CPM analysis, schedule logic, and time impact assessments.
• Monitor progress, identify delays, and provide early warning with mitigation measures.
• Review contractors’ and subcontractors’ schedules for alignment with baselines.
• Support EOT claims and delay analysis across projects.
• Attend coordination meetings and consolidate portfolio-wide schedule performance reports.
• Prepare baseline/updated schedules, reports, and presentations in English and Chinese when required.
