Job summary

China Construction Pearl River (M) Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a Planning Engineer for a building construction project at IOI City Mall Phase 3 in Putrajaya. You will develop and monitor master programmes, ensuring on-time progress across high-rise and mixed-use development.

The role requires 3+ years' planning experience, proficiency in Primavera P6, and strong CPM expertise. You will coordinate with project teams, subcontractors and consultants to drive schedules and deliverables.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related field.
• 3+ years of experience as a Planning Engineer in building construction projects.
• Experience in high-rise, commercial, residential or mixed-use developments preferred.
• Proficient in Primavera P6; Microsoft Project knowledge is an advantage.
• Strong understanding of CPM, baseline programmes and progress monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, update and monitor master construction programmes and detailed schedules.
• Develop baseline schedules, weekly/monthly progress updates and look-ahead plans.
• Monitor site progress and identify potential delays; propose mitigation.
• Prepare S-curves, progress reports and manpower/resource planning.
• Coordinate with Project Manager, site teams, subcontractors and consultants.
• Attend progress meetings and provide schedule updates.
